(Temminck, 1835)The Chestnut-fronted Shrike-babbler (Pteruthius aenobarbus) is a species of bird in the Timaliidae family. It is found in southern China, north-east India, the island of Java in Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
