(1985)One of the Living is a 1985 song recorded by the American singer Tina Turner. The song was one of two songs Turner recorded for the soundtrack for the film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (in which she also starred) and is played over the film's opening credits.
The single became a hit in America, peaking in the top 20 of the US Hot 100, and enjoyed some success in Europe. "One of the Living" won Turner a Grammy Award for "Best Rock Vocal Performance, Female". The song also appears on Turner's UK hits compilation The Platinum Collection.
