Misc ="Break Every Rule" is a single recorded by
Grammy Award winning rock singerTina Turner . It was the title track to both Turner's 1986 album of the same name and the name of her 1986/1987 world tour and was also released as a single in early 1987 to support the album and the tour. The promo video shows Turner performing the track on stage as well as behind-the-scenes footage of Turner and her band from the tour. The country-flavoured song was written by British composer and singerRupert Hine and his then girlfriendJeanette Obstoj , who had previously composed "I Might Have Been Queen" on the "Private Dancer " album, which also included another track produced by Hine, "Better Be Good To Me ". The "Break Every Rule" 12" single included both an Extended Dance Mix and an Extended Rock Mix.Versions and remixes
