Acquisition of Magma Communications
In early 2004, Primus Canada acquired Ottawa-based Magma Communications Ltd.,[1] a small ISP with most of its customers based in Ottawa, Toronto, and surrounding areas[citation needed]. In 2006, Primus Canada then merged Magma's customer databases, services and call centers into its own organization, phasing out the Magma brand as time passes[citation needed]. The Ottawa building, formerly Magma headquarters, then changed all its outdoor signs and identity to the Primus brand.
