Corporate communications executiveDonald Rathburn Dwight was lieutenant governor of Massachusetts from 1971 to 1975. He served as a Republican alongside Governor Francis W. Sargent.
After his term as lieutenant governor, Dwight moved to Minneapolis to become president and publisher of the Minneapolis Star and Minneapolis Tribune. He went on to publish seven New England newspapers and became chairman of Newspapers of New England. In 1988 he formed the public relations firm Clark, Dwight & Associates in Greenwich, Connecticut.
