(2004)Now That's What I Call Music! 57 or Now 57 was released in 2004. The album is the 57th edition of the (UK) Now! series. The Peter Andre track 'Mysterious Girl' makes its second appearance on a NOW! album. First appearing on 1996's Volume 34 respectively, the single Mysterious Girl re-released, a result of Peter Andre appearing on the ITV1 show I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. It sold 334,345 units in the first week of sales, and at the time of release it was the fastest selling record of the 21st century. It would remain the biggest first week sale for a Now album until Now 69 in 2008, which sold 382,759.
Now 57 features eight songs which reached number one on the UK Singles Chart. They are "Toxic", "Mysterious Girl", "Cha Cha Slide", "Take Me to the Clouds Above", "Leave Right Now", "Changes", "Who's David?" and "All This Time".
The inlay contains a quite noticeable error in the write-up for Franz Ferdinand - it (correctly) states that they were named after the Austrian archduke of the same name, but wrongly states that his assassination started World War II.
