Now That's What I Call Music! 17 was released on November 2, 2004. The album is the 17th edition of the Now! series in the United States. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, becoming the second consecutive number-one album in the series and the sixth overall.[2]

Now! 17 has been certified 3x platinum[3] and features two Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits, "Lean Back" and "Goodies".
