Domokos ProvinceProvince of Greece 2006 History - Established Enter start date - Law 2539/1997 2006 Domokos Province (Επαρχία Δομοκού) was one of the provinces of Greece, at time of abolishment of the provinces it belonged to Phthiotis Prefecture in Central Greece.
The area of the province constituting the Domokos Province only became a part of the Kingdom of Greece after the annexation of Thessaly to Greece in 1881.
At first it belonged to the 1821 established Phthiotis and Phocis Prefecture and on split in 1947 it became part of Phthiotis Prefecture.
