The hamlet is located in census division No. 3 and in the federal riding of Lethbridge. It is administered by Cardston County.
Demographics
As of 2006, Mountain View had a total population of 20 living in 14 dwellings. With a land area of 1.36 km2 (0.53 sq mi), it has a population density of 14.7 /km2 (38 /sq mi).[1]
Industry Canada shows that Mountain View's greater rural area had a total population of 480 living in 166 dwellings in 2001. With a land area of 311.4 km2 (120.2 sq mi), its greater rural area has a population density of 3.0 /km2 (7.8 /sq mi).[3]
