next_route = 6Highway 5 is a 120-km long highway that runs in southern Alberta. It begins at the intersection of
Mayor Magrath Drive at theCrowsnest Highway in Lethbridge to the Waterton Townsite in the southwest corner of Alberta. It proceeds south from Lethbridge to the hamlet of Welling. South of Welling, it meets the western terminus of Highway 52 and proceeds southwest to Magrath. Other towns and cities along the way include Spring Coulee (where it crosses Highway 820), Cardston, Leavitt, and Mountain View. Finally, as it heads towardsWaterton Lakes National Park (eastern park gate), it crosses Highway 6 and then continues as the main route through the park.ee also
