Milecastle 18

Milecastle 18 is one of the milecastle forts along Hadrian's Wall, in northern England.[1] Excavations slightly to the west of the milecasle toward a farm have revealed the presence of cobbles and sandstone, giving likely evidence of an ancient roadway approaching the south gate of the fort.[2][3]
