Norway was represented at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles by the Norwegian Olympic Committee and Confederation of Sports. Norway returned to the Summer Games after participating in the American-led boycott of the 1980 Summer Olympics. 103 competitors, 84 men and 19 women, took part in 76 events in 17 sports.[1]

In the third appearance by the nation in the archery competition at the Olympics, Norway was again represented by only one man. He posted Norway's best ranking in Olympic archery history with the 23rd place.
