(Sclater & Salvin, 1866)The Black-and-white Antbird (Myrmochanes hemileucus) is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Myrmochanes.[citation needed] It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland.
