The Martinique Amazon, Amazona martinicana, was a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. It was endemic to Martinique. It became extinct due to habitat loss as Martinique was cleared for agriculture.[1] It has not been recorded since 1722.[1] A similar, also extinct parrot inhabited the island of Guadeloupe and may have been the same species.[1]
