Defunct Bus Lines
- "130 Lebanon Street, Melrose - Malden Center Station via Lebanon Street Melrose, Sylvan Street & Oak Grove" was discontinued in the early 2000s when the 106 was extended to Franklin Square. The reason for the cease in service was a lack in ridership. The closure of this route allowed the service frequency of the 132 to improve from running at 90 minutes or better to 60 minutes or better.
- "135 Wakefield Square - Oak Grove Station via Wakefield, Greenwood & Downtown Melrose" which was a shortened version of the 136 or 137 route was a footnote on the 136/137 schedule until the MBTA decided in 2004 that it was better to renumber the route as various versions of the 136.
