Community College Station is an MBTA station on the Orange Line, located in Charlestown, Massachusetts (a neighborhood of Boston) near the intersection of Rutherford Avenue and Austin Street. It lies underneath the ramps of Interstate 93 only a few blocks north of its entrance to the Big Dig via the Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge.

It is named for the nearby Bunker Hill Community College, the main population the station serves. It also serves Bunker Hill and Charlestown to the east, and Lechmere and East Cambridge to the west via the John F Gilmore bridge carrying Austin Street. (I-93 and the Boston Engine Terminal rail yard occupy the immediate land to the north and west). Although Lechmere Station is closer to sections of East Cambridge including the Cambridgeside Galleria Mall, this station is more convenient for Orange Line customers.

Bus connections

Community College Station is the only station on the Orange Line that does not have at least one bus connection.

Accessibility

Like all stations on the Orange Line, this station is wheelchair accessible.
