Cromer High School and Sports College is a British state school in Cromer, Norfolk. It has around 517 pupils aged 11-16, a drop in numbers from 715 in March 2006 and has had the specialist school status of a Sports College since July, 2010.[1] Having been a Language College from July 2001 until July 2010. The current headteacher is Glyn Hambling. Cromer High is coeducational and students are admitted without regard to ability. Priority is given to students from Cromer and the following villages: Gresham, Northrepps, Overstrand, Bessingham, East Beckham, Sustead, Metton, Sidestrand, East Runton, Felbrigg, Aylmerton and Roughton.

In 2006, the school reintroduced a House system with vertically integrated form groups with approximately 5 students from every year group in a form. There are 5 forms in a house. The houses are called Blogg (blue), Bailey (red), Dixon (green) and Heartwell (yellow) and are named after Cromer Lifeboats. These house names are the same from when the House system was abandoned in favour of form groups being lettered T, V, W, X, Y and Z within each year group. This system is very popular with students and forms the basis of numerous extra-curricular and academic activities and challenges, such as sports day, Enterprise Challenges, and environmental theme days.

The school has undergone some significant changes recently, with a new Headteacher (Glyn Hambling) and Deputy Headteacher (Steve Hughes) in post. Academic standards are rising and in the summer of 2009 the school published its highest ever GCSE results.

1895 (Cromer) Air Training Corps and Cromer Platoon, Britannia Coy., Norfolk Army Cadet Force are based at Cromer High School. The Air cadets train Mondays and Thursdays, while the Army cadets train Tuesdays and some Wednesdays. The High School is part of a partnership of schools known as the Cromer Campus, with the neighbouring Suffield Park Infants and Cromer Junior School. Many students go through all three schools in the Campus.

In May 2010 the school was inspected by Ofsted and graded as a "good school with outstanding features". Several aspects of the school's work were graded as outstanding, including leadership and management, assessment, management of teaching and learning, welfare and safety of students, and students' care guidance and support.
