King Edward VII School (known as KES) is a large secondary school in Gaywood Road (A148), King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. The history of the school dates back about 500 years. The school building is 100 years old. The school recently celebrated its one hundredth year as a secondary school, and was honoured with a visit from the Queen. King Edward VII School has a sister school in Chongqing, China. There was a trip to China in 2007 and another planned for 2008. The English pupils from KES teach the Chinese pupils 5 English sports and in return get taught 5 Chinese sports back. In 2008 KES performed a production of Bugsy Malone on the 12th, 13th and 14th of March, organised and directed by Mrs Lucy McFarlane. There has also been many cricket trips to Barbados.
