Chatmohar (Bengali: চাটমোহর) is an Upazila of Pabna District in the Division of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.

Geography

Chatmohar is located at 24°13′30″N 89°17′30″E / 24.2250°N 89.2917°E / 24.2250; 89.2917 . It has 39489 units of house hold and total area 314.32 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Chatmohar has a population of 227524. Males constitute are 50.63% of the population, and females 49.37%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 109774. Chatmohar has an average literacy rate of 24.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.^[1]

Chatmohar has 10 Unions/Wards, 170 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 234 villages.

It has one Upazila Chairman, one Upazila Vice Chairman and one Upazila Female Vice Chairman. They are assisted by Upazila Nirbahi (executive) Officer (UNO).
