Gill Landry

Gill Landry

Gill Landry (b. 1975), also known by the stage name of Frank Lemon, is a singer/songwriter and guitarist born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a member of The Kitchen Syncopators. [http://www.rustys.web.aplus.net/kitchensyncopators/id10.html] The group is currently on hiatus, having not officially broken up, as they never became an "official" band. Landry comes from a musical family, many having ties to the Seattle area. Landry has also lended vocals, played banjo and steel guitar for Old Crow Medicine Show. In 2007, Gill released a solo album titled "The Ballad of Lawless Soirez" on the Nettwerk Records label.

Gill Landry has performed with inumerable musicians, some not already mentioned are Baby Gramps, "Washboard" Lissa Driscoll(a noted New Orleans busker), and he also helped out the Canadian band, the Be Good Tanyas; he is featured at the end of their video The Littlest Birds sing the Prettiest Songs.
