Nandigram is located at 24°39′40″N 89°14′00″E / 24.6611°N 89.2333°E. It has 27470 units of house hold and a total area of 265.47 km² (approximately).
Demographics
As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Nandigram has a population of 147557. Males constitute are 50.8% of the population, and females 49.2%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 74882. Nandigram has an average literacy rate of 29.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1]
