Cumberland Mall is strategically positioned 25 miles (40 km) away from its nearest competitor, 45 miles (72 km) south of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and on route to the Southern New Jersey Shore Points. The mall almost went under, but was able to stay in business thanks to Vineland's 3.5% sales tax. Cumberland Mall has recently seen more customers due to the large amount of development that has occurred in the region. Total Square Footage: 941,148 sq ft (87,435.5 m2).[1]
