Roosevelt Mall is a medium-sized outdoor shopping mall, located along PA 73 (Cottman Avenue) between Bustleton Avenue and the Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is anchored by a large, 3-level department store on its east end, that currently houses Macy's [http://www1.macys.com/store/locator/index.ognc?action=locatorSearch&ZipCode=19152&City=&State=NOSELECTION&LOCATOR_BUTTON.x=-1&LOCATOR_BUTTON.y=-1] , which only is using the top 2 floors. When it was Strawbridge's, it had a bargain basement in which all furniture and goods were marked down by 80%. Sears [http://www.sears.com/shc/s/StoreLocatorView?storeId=10153&catalogId=12605] operates a full-line department store across Bustleton Avenue from the mall itself. Though not officially part of the mall, it also acts as a draw to the shopping center. The general area was also at one time home to a Clover discount department store and a J.C. Penney department store, as well as an AMC 8 Orleans Theatres [http://cinematreasures.org/theater/3328/] , all of which are currently vacant. Roosevelt Mall is a popular hangout area for teenagers, and a good place for some quick shopping, although most residents prefer Neshaminy Mall in nearby Bucks County for a shopping trip.
