79th Academy Awards nominees and winners

The nominees for the 79th Academy Awards were announced on January 23 2007 by Academy president Sid Ganis and actress Salma Hayek, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in the Academy's Beverly Hills headquarters. The winners were announced February 25 at a ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Films that won multiple Oscars include: "The Departed" (4), "Pan's Labyrinth" (3), "An Inconvenient Truth" (2), "Dreamgirls" (2), and "Little Miss Sunshine" (2).
