California's 30th State Assembly district is one of 80 districts in the California State Assembly. It is currently represented by Democrat Nicole Parra of Hanford.

District Profile

The district is currently located within California's Central Valley, including Fresno, Kings, Kern, and Tulare Counties. Hanford and Delano are the two largest cities fully contained within the district.

Former Assembly Speaker Brian Setencich, current 20th district congressman Jim Costa, and John G. Veneman, father of former Bush Agriculture Secretary Ann Veneman have all represented the 30th district. Clare Berryhill, the father of current 25th district assemblyman, Tom Berryhill represented this district from 1969 until 1970.
