In Mundwa, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.The city of Marwar-Mundwa was established by Mundel (Parihar) gotra of Jat,the former rulers of Mandore (Head Quarters of Marwar Riyasat, near Jodhpur)in 7th to 13th century.
