Chakapara is located at 22°38′N 88°21′E / 22.63°N 88.35°E.[2] It has an average elevation of 14 metres (46 feet).
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[3] Chakapara had a population of 24,212. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Chakapara has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 79% and female literacy of 70%. 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
