CablevisionFounded 2005 Website www.news12.com News 12 Brooklyn launched in 2005 and reaches more than 490,000 homes on the Cablevision and Time Warner Cable (channel 156) systems. It shares its studio and on air talent with News 12 The Bronx. Also, like News 12 The Bronx, News 12 Brooklyn utilizes environmentally friendly hybrid gas/electric powered vehicles in an effort to reduce air pollution. On June 2nd 2010, News 12 Brooklyn premiered a new set that changes from yellow for the Morning and Afternoon Broadcasts to blue for the Evening and Overnight Broadcasts. On December 17th, 2010, News 12 premiered a new logo, infobar, graphics (including new news intro), and music (Convergence by Stephen Arnold music).
