Miss América Latina 1993 was the tenth international edition of the Miss América Latina contest, and the twelfth overall. The final event was held on September 14, 1993 in Guatemala City, Guatemala. At the conclusion of the pageant, María Fernanda Morales of Guatemala was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Ana Sofía Pereira of Nicaragua[1].

- Guatemala placed for the first time.
- Guatemala won outright for the first and only time. Later on, Guatemala would place second in 2007 and assume the title following the dethroning of Giannina Silva.
- Argentina placed for the fourth consecutive time.
- Colombia, Paraguay and Spain also placed in 1992.
- Spain matched its highest placement ever.
- Chile and Peru last placed in 1991.
- Peru earned its highest placement after winning in 1991. It has, as of 2011, yet to match third place again.
- Guatemala became the first territory to have a winner crowned on home soil.
- This marked the only year, as of 2011, that Venezuela did not participate in the pageant.
