Mikhaylovsky District (Russian: Миха́йловский райо́н) is an administrative^[1] and municipal^[2] district (raion) of Primorsky Krai, Russia; one of the twenty-two in the krai. It is located in the southwestern portion of the krai. The area of the district is 2,741.4 square kilometers (1,058.5 sq mi).^[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Mikhaylovka.^[9] District's population: 37,037 (2010 est.);^[5] 37,541 (2002 Census);^[4] 44,150 (1989 Census).^[10] Population of Mikhaylovka accounts for 24.8% of the district's population.^[4]

The district was formed on January 4, 1926.^[8]
