Mashro Monastery

Mashro Monastery or Mashro Gompa is a Buddhist monastery in Ladakh, northern India, located across the Indus River from Thiksey Monastery. Built in the first half of the 16th century, it has an array of ancient thangkas, and is noted for its venue for a festival of oracles.[1]
