DZIQ (990 kHz Metro Manila), formally named as DZIQ Radyo Inquirer 990 AM, is an flagship AM radio station owned by Trans-Radio Broadcasting Corp., Inc. and operated by Philippine Daily Inquirer, in the Philippines. Its studios are located at Media Resources Building, Mola cor. Pasong Tirad sts., Brgy. La Paz, Makati City, and the transmitter is located at Obando, Bulacan. DZIQ operates 24-hours a day, 7-days a week except Holy Week of each year where it signs-off from Maundy Thursday until Black Saturday.

History

After the test broadcast on the election day, May 10, 2010, PDI acquired the station's blocktime programming and changed its callsign to DZIQ from DWRT.[1] This station's format is the same as the Philippine Daily Inquirer newspaper and online. On August 16, 2010, Radyo Inquirer was on the air on terrestrial radio and its official launch was on September 9, 2010.[2]
