The station's studio is located at #9 Central Ave., Brgy. New Era, Quezon City and its transmitter is located at Obando, Bulacan.
At present, DZEC considered as one of the top stations in the AM band in Metro Manila and is recognized as one of the most awarded radio stations in the Philippines.

History
DZEC was established on April 26, 1968 an AM Radio Station news, public service & religious broadcasting. It is similar to DZRH because it sometimes mentions its frequency & it has relay stations in Lucena, Dagupan, Cebu & Davao
DZEC's format is a combination 60% Radio Format (News, Commentary, Public Service, Radio Entertainment & Music) & 40% TV Format (TV Entertainment, Values, etc.) with nice stingers that represents a happy family in a happy home listening to DZEC. Similar to DZRH, DZEC rarely mentions its frequency since it has relay stations in Lucena, Dagupan, Cebu & Davao.
DZEC holds the distinction for being the first KBP Golden Dove Awards People's Choice for AM Station winning by a landslide margin over its nearest competitor. DZEC remains as the overwhelming choice of radio listeners reigning as the most listened to AM Station for two consecutive years (2009 / 2010).
In 2011, DZEC moved its studios from Maligaya Bldg. II in EDSA to #9 Central Ave.
