Biography
Space Cowboy started as a Hip Hop Dj and first recorded for Norman Cook's Southern Fried records and produced Nadia Oh's debut 2008 album, Hot Like Wow. Also releasing solo album Digital Rock on the independent record label, Tiger Trax, and later re-released as Digital Rock Star on Cherrytree Records, which was largely produced by RedOne.
Also known as DJ for Lady Gaga, Space Cowboy was the featured artist and co-producer of "Starstruck" for the album The Fame. The two artists also collaborated on "Christmas Tree" with the producer Cherry Cherry Boom Boom. Extracts of his song "My Egyptian Lover" were used in Lady Gaga's promotional videos and he remixed many Lady Gaga tracks including "Just Dance," "Poker Face" and "Love Game."
Space Cowboy also worked with Lady Gaga on her second album, The Fame Monster, co-writing and producing on the songs "Monster" and "So Happy I Could Die," with Gaga and RedOne. Space Cowboy appeared in the Lady Gaga videos for "Just Dance," "Beautiful Dirty Rich" and "Poker Face".
He also co-wrote MSTRKRFT's "Heartbreaker", featuring the American singer John Legend.
