James Sutton (photographer)

James Sutton (born April 28, 1986 in Coventry) is an English photographer and video director whose videos have been playlisted on MTV and other influential music TV channels.

Sutton lives and works in Coventry/London. Modern pop culture and surrealism greatly inspire his works in photography and film. Sutton uses a lot of colour, combining vivid and electric vibrancy that harmonize and also clash creating his recognisable style.

James Sutton's latest videos are currently on high rotation on MTV, The Box, Chart Show TV, B4 It's A Hit, Fizz TV. (Space Cowboy - "That's What Dreams Are Made Of" and Space Cowboy - "My Egyptian Lover")

His work has been published in various outlets, from Rolling Stone Magazine, Dazed & Confused, and Time Out to Playboy. Another recent series of work includes a live stage show project with Electro pop band Huski, producing 8 films which are projected onto the band during live performance to create a surreal stage environment.

A selection of photographs have been included in a group photography show in fashionable Brighton art gallery O Contemporary, alongside works by Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Andy Warhol, David LaChapelle and many more.
