- Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television
-
The Gold Logie Award has been awarded annually to the Most Popular Personality on Australian Television at the TV Week Logie Awards since 1960. Even though it is determined by popular vote, it is considered by some the most prestigious award in the Australian television industry.
This article does not include:
- special Gold Logies or
- the "TV Week Awards' Star of the Year" award at the inaugural presentation in 1959. This was won by Graham Kennedy, who coined the name "Logie Award" the following year, and it is sometimes counted as a Gold Logie equivalent.
- Gold Logies awarded to inductees into the TV Week Logies' Hall of Fame (since 1984)
Although there have been 53 awards nights, a total of 59 Gold Logies have been won as two Gold Logies, for male and female, were awarded in 1967, 1970, 1971, 1974, 1975, 1976 and 1977.
Of the 59 Gold Logies, the winner has come from:
- Nine Network on 29 occasions (49%). Nine's last winner was Karl Stefanovic won in 2011.
- Seven Network on 18 occasions (31%). Seven's last winner was Ray Meagher in 2010.
- Network Ten on 9 occasions (15%). Ten's last winner was Rove McManus in 2005.
- ABC TV on 3 occasions (5%). The ABC's last winner was Norman Gunston in 1976. (The award was made to the character played by Garry McDonald, who accepted it in character.)

1950s
The Logies as such did not commence until 1960, and thus no Gold Logie was given at the inaugural awards presentation in 1959. However Graham Kennedy won the "TV Week Awards' Star Of The Year" in 1959, and this is sometimes considered to be equivalent to a Gold Logie.
