According to the 2002 census, the commune has 1,601 inhabitants, including 1,419 ethnic Romanians, 171 ethnic Hungarians, and 11 Roma. The commune is composed of two villages, Capu Corbului (Hollósarka) and Corbu (Gyergyóholló). Coordinates: 46°59′N 25°42′E / 46.983°N 25.7°E
