He was classically trained before discovering jazz, and continued to explore various styles such as gospel, R&B, and Latin. As an artist his Dance/Pop song "Deeper Love",[1] a duet with CeCe Peniston, peaked at #14 under Billboard magazine's "Hot Dance Club Play" category in 2005.[2] The newest version of the song is directed at Rhythmic Radio and will be released the summer of 2011, along with his album titled Baila! on the Del Oro Music label.[3] His collaboration with Flamenco guitarist Ottmar Liebert produced a song "A Castle In Spain" which won them a 2008 Hollywood Music Awards nomination and award for Best instrumental Song and Performance. His song "Sunset" featuring guitarist Marc Antoine was released in 2008 and plays on contemporary jazz stations in the US and Europe.
Longoria has produced and remixed many artists including Sparks ("When Do I Get To Sing 'My Way'"), Dr. Alban (Look Who's Talking), Sting (Fields Of Gold album), Andrae Crouch (Spoon Fed Christian), Michael J. Downey (America). David Longoria recently was awarded the ASYM (American Society Of Young Musicians) All That Jazz award for excellence in jazz and commercial music leading the way for young musicians.[4] This was awarded in Bel Air, CA October 27, 2010.

Early life
He performed at Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland amusement parks as well as performing recording sessions for commercials, TV shows and movies. He discovered a passion for songwriting and began working on many other artists' recordings. He worked as a Record Producer and musician on hundreds of recordings including ones for great musicians Sting, General Public, Aretha Franklin, B.B.King, Boys II Men and many more. David Longoria sings and plays the trumpet with passion. His love for Latin music is evidenced in the new CD Baila! which features some of music's brightest stars.
