- Philagrius of Epirus
Philagrius of Epirus (Greek:Φιλάγριος Ηπειρώτης) a Greek medical writer, born in Epirus, lived after
Galen and beforeOreibasius , and therefore probably in the3rd century AD . According toSuidas he was a pupil of a physician named Naumachius, and practised his profession chiefly atThessalonica . He seems to have been well known to the
