- Antarctic Great Wall Station

The Great Wall Station (simplified Chinese: 长城站; traditional Chinese: 長城站; pinyin: Chángchéng Zhàn) is the first Chinese research station in Antarctica.
It is located on King George Island, 2.5 km from the Chilean Frei Montalva Station, and 960 km from Cape Horn.
The station has been on an ice-free rock, about 10 meters above the sea level. In summer, it holds up to 40 people; in winter, the total population is 14 .
It was opened on February 20, 1985.
