Education
Kennedy went to Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) to study International Business and Languages, a year of which was spent at L'École de Commerce at Université de Bordeaux. He holds a first-class honors degree and is a fluent French speaker. He later attended London's premier fashion college Central Saint Martins.
Broadcasting career
Kennedy is currently hosting the new 13 part series Project Parent with Angellica Bell broadcasting on BBC1, BBC2 and CBBC. He has appeared on ITV's This Morning and recently travelled to Ireland to do a series of reports for RTÉ's Four Live on interior home style.
In 2010, he presented on the third series of Operation Transformation on RTÉ One, on radio with The Gerry Ryan Show, as well as hosting a daily online TV show.
From 2005-2008 he was Entertainment News presenter on RTE2's TTV [1] Ireland's most-viewed youth TV show.
In 2008, Kennedy hosted the 10-part series The Showjumping Premier Series on Sky Sports.
He has also appeared on The Daily Show, The Afternoon Show, Off the Rails, Ireland AM and Seoige and O'Shea.
An experienced live radio broadcaster, he was a regular guest with RTÉ 2fm's The Gerry Ryan Show[2] and on Derek Mooney's daily programme on RTÉ Radio One.[3] He now discusses The X Factor with Colm Hayes each Monday.
Style
As of May 2010, Kennedy writes a weekly style column in the Irish Independent Weekend Magazine
In 2009, he founded online magazine Helpmystyle.ie.
He also contributes to various publications including Irish Tatler The Men's Issue, GCN, The Wedding Journal and Joe.ie.
TV production
Kennedy learned his craft behind the camera working at every level of TV production starting out as a runner. He has worked on numerous top rated TV programmes as researcher, assistant producer, studio stage manager and producer.
His production credits include CBS's The Amazing Race,[4] Operation Transformation series 1, 2 & 3 [2], The IFTA's, The Restaurant,[5] Showhouse,[6] Celebrities Go Wild, Holiday Quiz, Diary of a Debutante, Quizone, Ireland AM and Holiday Quiz for RTÉ.[7]
