Mo Cheol Thú was an Irish radio programme which aired for 45 minutes each Sunday morning on RTÉ Radio 1 from 1970 until 2005. It was one of radio's longest running programmes.[1][2] Presented by Ciarán Mac Mathúna, the programme ended when he retired in 2005. The last programme aired on 27 November 2005, beginning at 8.10 am.[2] Mac Mathúna died just over four years later.[1][3][4]

The content of the programme included instrumental music, songs both in English and Irish, and conversation between Mac Mathúna and various guests.
