Lamarck, 1819The boring clam, crocus clam, or saffron-coloured clam (Tridacna crocea) is a species of bivalve in the Tridacnidae family. It is found in Australia, Guam, Indonesia, East Timor, Japan, Malaysia, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Thailand, Vanuatu, Vietnam, and possibly Tuvalu.
