(Lesson, 1844)The Collared Antshrike (Sakesphorus bernardi) is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. It is found in Ecuador and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical moist shrubland. It has recently been proposed that it more properly belongs to the genus Thamnophilus (Brumfield et al., 2007).
