Schlegel, 1841Mauritanian Toad', Crapaud De Maurétanie, Crapaud Pantherin, or Sapo Moruno (Bufo mauritanicus) is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Algeria, Morocco, Spain, Tunisia, and possibly Western Sahara. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, pastureland, and plantations . It is threatened by habitat loss.
