Cranopsis marmoreus is one of several former names for Bufo marmoreus, a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, intermittent rivers, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forest, and ponds.
