Chaunus ictericus is a species of toad in the Bufonidae family. It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland, rivers, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, plantations , rural gardens, urban areas, and canals and ditches.
