(Gray, 1866)Welwitsch's Bat (Myotis welwitschii) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It is found in Angola, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
