Optimash Prime Company Playskool Availability Since June 2007– Optimash Prime is a toy manufactured by Playskool (a subsidiary of Hasbro).
It is a hybrid of two children's characters, Optimus Prime of the Transformers toy line and Mr. Potato Head.[1]
Made to tie in with the live-action film Transformers (2007), it is the fifth product tie-in Hasbro has done with its Mr. Potato Head brand — the others being Artoo-Potatoo, Darth Tater, Spider Spud and Spud Trooper.
The toy takes on the look of the original Optimus Prime from The Transformers (1984–1987), an animated television series, instead of his new updated look seen in the film.
In the Philippines, Optimash Prime became a fan groups' mascot, but become a cult personality on its own with well-known celebrities depicted in the photos posted at his Facebook page. The Optimash Prime had a minor upgrade namely a pair of "nipple eyes" taken from the Silly Suitcase set.
