The Diocese of Killaloe, shown in green, within the Province of CashelWebsite killaloediocese.ie The Diocese of Killaloe (Irish: Deoise Chill Dalua) is a Roman Catholic diocese in mid-western Ireland. It is one of six suffragan dioceses in the ecclesiastical province of Cashel (also known as Munster) and is subject to the Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly.[1] The diocese is in the secular province of the same name - Munster. Following the retirement of Bishop Willie Walsh, the current Ordinary is Bishop Kieran O'Reilly whose episcopal ordination took place on August 29th 2010.[2]

Parishes
The Diocese is divided into a number of parishes or group parishes. Most are located in County Clare, followed by North Tipperary. There are five parishes in County Offaly, one group parish in County Laois and one parish in County Limerick.[3]
